Join Mike for the EPA Hearing!

This Thursday, Seattle has the chance to show the government and the country how much we care about global warming.  The Obama Administration has proposed an historic finding that greenhouses gases pose a threat to public health and welfare, and is taking public comment as it considers how to move forward with regulations.  Only two public hearings are being held nationwide, and we’re lucky enough to be hosting one here in Seattle.

Team O’Brien will be out in the streets, showing our support for bold, decisive action on climate change and the green economy that a strong regulatory regime could create.  Join us as we add our voices to the chorus of concerned citizens, and help spread the word about Mike’s campaign.  We’ll be passing out stickers & buttons, and signing people up for our campaign mailings.

when: Thursday, May 21. 11:30 AM-1:00PM  There is a big rally taking place at noon, so we’ll be meeting a bit early to get organized.

where: The EPA hearing will be at Bell Harbor International Conference Center - 2211 Alaskan Way, Pier 66, Seattle (click for map & directions).  We will meet just up the street at the corner of Alaskan Way & Wall St. (1 block northwest of the conference center) and head down to join the rally once we’re all together.

Let’s send a powerful message that America is ready to fight global warming!

RSVP or ask questions by emailing info@obrienforseattle.com or calling Dan Schwartz at 206-302-9737.

See you there,

Team O’Brien
